Feb 10, 2015 · We found TOGS most valuable during out-of-the-saddle climbing efforts. The Lowdown: TOGS Thumb Over Grip System Once I got used to them, the TOGS (Thumb Over Grip System) became a valuable asset, allowing me to switch hand position on longer rides when numbness and hand fatigue might otherwise...
Road togs - anybody using them? - Mountain Bike Reviews Forum
Mar 29, 2020 · The TOGS came with some rubber grips, but I don't know if I'll use them. The bike feels way more steady on rough terrain—relative to what I'll ride on a rigid bike with ~43mm tires. Note: photos below with my hands on the bar are not an accurate representation of how they actually fit, because I was not sitting on the bike when I shot these.

May 6, 2018 · Almost all 29ers have terrible geometry for drop bars, about the only exception is the Raleigh Stuntman. All 29ers have waaay too long top tubes, a huge gap between the front wheel and down tube caused by excessively slack head tubes designed with the moronic assumption you'll desire to run a suspension fork. 29" is a great idea that has suffered from …
XC Bar Widths - Mountain Bike Reviews Forum
Dec 26, 2019 · Personally, I found that either 740mm or 720mm worked for me, however, I was clipping trees more with the 740 bars, so I went with the narrower option of the two. I then use a pair of Togs set inboard of my shifter and brakes to get a more narrow grip position for riding in wide-open situations.
thumb joint "arthritis" solutions for riding...?
Aug 2, 2019 · Will look at shifter position, check out the brace, take tumeric and my dropper remote is already in the position. I have togs, used them for indoor training, but climb w/ my hands on top of bar anyway, so little change there. Thx! W
Carbon-fiber paste on your handlebar - Mountain Bike Reviews …
Feb 3, 2016 · I have a torque key I use for anything on my carbon handlebar, except for stuff with super light torque values (I've some TOGS that specify less than 2Nm, which is super light). I use that same torque key on my seat collar binder (it's a QR lever, but has a real bolt on one end, so I can actually give it a specific torque) since the dropper ...
